Private guided four wheel drive day tours - About us
Iceland South Coast Travel is a family company specialized in organizing guided day tours in South Iceland on four wheel drive vehicles. The vehicles are comfortable and well equipped where the driver is also the guide (driver-guide). We recommend group sizes of 2-6 persons per tour. Here we would like to give you an idea of tours in South Iceland but we can take you wherever you want your ideas and interests to carry you! The most popular day tour is the Golden Circle and then the South Coast tour but if you would like to visit the highland we recommend Landmannalaugar. We can take you to the lagoon Jokulsarlon but that is a long daytour, 10 - 13 hours. An exciting day tour is with the ferry Herjólfur from the new harbour at Bakki to the Westman Islands. Additionally to the Golden Circle tour is the possibility to visit genuine Icelandic farmers. We call the tour, The Golden Circle extra. Also we can add to the Golden Circle tour a horse ride on the famous Icelandic horse.
